We are a simple New Testament congregation of the Lord’s church. We are ever seeking and striving to be exactly what God’s Word commands us to be.
We seek to worship THE ONE AND TRUE LIVING GOD after the pattern that is set forth in Scriptures. We do so by following the pattern of the first century church and by the apostles’ doctrine (Acts 2:42). The preaching that you hear will be Bible-centered (2 Timothy 4:2). The singing is only from our hearts and the voices God gave us (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16-17). This we do as a congregation. We pray (1 Timothy 2:1). We give in a sacrificial manner (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). We partake of the Lord’s Supper every single Sunday in remembrance of our Lord (1 Corinthians 11:23-26) (Acts 20:7).
Our Head is none other than Christ himself. He is our authority in words and in deed. Elders (who meet scriptural qualification) of the church of Christ are charged to oversee and shepherd us according to the Word of God. Deacons (who also meet God’s qualifications) assist and lead in other areas of important works.
Also, we firmly believe and are convicted that ALL PEOPLE, regardless of gender, race, or social status, are added to the Kingdom of God the same way-
Hear and believe the Word of God (Romans 10:17)
Repent of sins (Acts 17:30)
Confess Jesus Christ as Lord (Matthew 10:32-33)
Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38)
